Ocean Jasper is a trade name of a spherulitic variety of orbicular jasper. It contains variably colored orbs or eyes or spherical inclusions or spherulites or zones that may be silicified. It is a rare variety of jasper found only in Madagascar. The eyes or orbs have astonishing colors with a white, pink, green, red, or yellow background. It is believed to aid in emotional healing, relaxation, grounding, promoting joy, happiness, emotional stability. It also encourages self-love and compassion.
