Fuchsite (Green Mica) raw stone

Raw fuchsite gets it’s glitter from the presence of fine crystals of mica. Although relatively soft, it is used in jewelry and lapidary arts due to its attractive green color. It is cut and polished into cabochons- smooth and convex gemstones that exhibit sparkling green color. It is often shaped into beads for use in necklaces, bracelets, and other types of jewelry. Additionally it is used to carve out figurines, sculptures, and other decorative items. A “Stone of Health”, fuchsite is associated with emotional healing, grounding, balance, encouraging self-reflection, and fostering a sense of vitality and abundance.
