Kunzite raw stone (microscopic view)

Microscopic examination of Kunzite reveals a fascinating internal world of long, slender, hollow tubes or "growth channels" that run parallel to the length of the crystal and can look like fine needles. It also shows occasional crystals of inclusions of other minerals as well as striations or deep vertical grooves on the crystal surface.
