Ruby Fuchsite cabochon

This beautiful green cabochon displays tiny red corundum crystals or ruby. It has a glittering appearance on account of presence of mica. This combination of stones is rare and is found only in southern India. Although relatively soft, cabochons are used in jewelry and lapidary arts due to its attractive green-red color combination.
