Bumblebee cabochon

This bumblebee cabochon features swirls of saffron and volcanic dust that mimic the wild energy of a hive. The distinctive yellow, orange, and grey bands are evident and reflect the sulfur containing minerals. Although it is prized as a gemstone, it is a soft stone with harness of 4-5 on the Mohs scale. It is believed to possess energizing and uplifting properties and improves decision making. Cabochons can be used making pendants, rings or necklaces.
