Fuchsite (Green Mica) raw stone

This unrefined fragment of forest light, shimmers with the silver dust of ancient earth! Raw fuchsite gets it’s glitter from the presence of fine crystals of mica. Although relatively soft, it is sometimes used in jewelry and lapidary arts due to its attractive green color. It is cut and polished into cabochons- smooth and convex gemstones that exhibit sparkling green color. It is often shaped into beads for use in necklaces, bracelets, and other types of jewelry.
