Microscopic view of Green Zebra Jasper

This microscopic view reveals the green band in Green Zebra Jasper. The distinct red colored spots are due to presence of hematite. Various other visible inclusions of iron and other minerals result in the green colored band. Parallelly aligned white crystals are microcrystalline quartz that gives a silky appearance to the stone.
